b747 may be the queen of the sky but Concorde was the princess of the sky. So let's get started.
The idea to made first supersonic passenger jet was begins at 1950s by the British engineers. If you don't know the first supersonic jet at that time is Lockheed F-104 Starfighter.
As the French engineers from aerospace industry also working to build up first supersonic passenger jet and they build up a first Delta wing supersonic jet as below.
This created a major role to design a Concorde. then British aircraft corporation decided to work together with a French aerospace industry. And start working on two projects in 1962. That's why name of the Concorde is like.
Concorde= Harmony( French)- union ( English).
In 1965 French aerospace industry working on to build up Concorde-001 and British aircraft corporation on Concorde-002.

but this glory stopped at 1973 in Paris airshow Concorde crash in that air show and then many of the above airlines cancel there orders.
Then after only 20 aircrafts are build up and operated only by air France and British airways.
Ok, let's talk about the Concorde iconic nose

because of this are in combined from so this is called the Elovons ( combination of rudder and elevator).
